For a while now I have been loving and crushing on a band called Laze&Royal. They are a hiphop/rap/urban/rock band consisting of two 19 year old twin brothers. Laze and Royal's musical influences ranges from Jayz to Linkin Park and it shows this variety in their music. At first glance these boys might look like the typical 'hard' boy rappers but their story goes so much deeper than that. Since the age of 16 the boys have been making music to support themselves on while their mother was fighting cancer after beating it and being diagnosed several times. Sadly she lost her battle against cancer this year :( However the boys are now back and stronger than ever with their new mixtape lead single "Kings and Queens" definatley check them out and look further into their story!
