Okay so I am aware that it is not even Sunday yet but I just HAD to share this with you guys!



This is officially my MUST have item of this month! This and those beautiful shorts that were featured on the last post. I love how it is all my favourite things at the moment..the cropped top..checkered shirt and all time favourite the HOODY!
So when I came across this i just had to share it with you guys. Now lets get into the fashion fix...

I paired it with these Panel Denim Leggins because of how sleek and dark they are. I love how they don't have a specific colour and could be named brown or black. Also the panel at the side of the leg is a very smart trick to elongate and slim legs down.

These jazzy shoes were added into the mix because I love how old school and fun they are. They could be worn during the night or the day. It also accents the white in the dominatly blue shirt.



I chose these simply accesories because silver is a colour that is always in style and you can never go wrong with a charm bracelet and simple gem studs. The reason for them being so simple is because this outfit is a laid back look. I would suggest that when rocking this style you keep your hair short and loose in messy curls or straight and up in a messy ponytail to continue that laid back look and also show of the hood!

Gotta love summer! I am that girl we all see who is too old to be playing in the park and yet she is having more fun than the babies! Lol Life is too precious to put to waste and I aim to enjoy it everyday..do the same!

Hello guys I just thought I would share this with you, this was a belated birthday gift from my bestie, It really isn't much but it truly is the little things that matter! She knows I love chocolate and that I only have ONE stuffed animal..a bear! And she also personalised the card with pictures of our summer together! She is a doll!

This was meant to be an ice CUBE...howver it is as you can see in the shape of Africa! I thought that was pretty darn cool because I am that geeky girl lol (: Also, it made me feel special! Like Wayne said: 'I might drop the world if I change hands' only this time it was continant! And YES I did say that when I discovered it looked like Africa lol..lame!

So last night on twitter Nicki Minaj and Drake made an 'announcment' saying that they have officialy tied the knot..not just any knot but the one that means you're married! It had twitter going crazy and even made the Trending Topic. However I think we can all agree that this is probably a joke of some sort...right? Well atleast let's hope so lol I will keep you updated. On the bright side they would look good together wouldn't they? (:

Hello lovelies (: well a few days ago I got bored of my look. My problem was that I dress rather edgy and awkward but my look was so safe. See the normal thing to do would've been to cut my hair short and I'd have instant high fashion but the problem with that is that I have a very close relationship with my hair :( it is pretty sad but I really do love my hair. So instead I decided to just cut my self a fringe. So I headed down to the bathroom and cut myself a fringe :) do you like it?

...to get your Bottoms Up!

The ever so calm Trey Songz and the ever so animated Nicki Minaj have teamed up to produce a club banger! This at first seemed like an odd pairing but we all knew it was bound to happen since both stars are currently on their A game. The video was premiered on BET last night and has recieved mixed views. Personally I like how different and edgy the video is for Songz. He is surrouned by all these beautiful ladies in a basement and begins to lose his cool. He then meets Nicki who is a bondaged lady that captures his attention. It was definatley worth the watch especially with the editing making their movements like something out of matrix!

...Jay Z!

Forbes magazine has just released their annual "Cash Kings of Hip Hop" list in which Jay Z, or Mr Carter, landed in the top spot..for the second year in a row! This year he made $63million! However this means he'l be payin $22million in tax which is more than any other rapper on the list apart from Diddy who made $30million. Congrats to Jay. He's a smart business man aswell as a talented artist and with good decisions in mind he will no doubt continue to make the top 3 in the list.

...for cartoons

Personally, my favourite cartoon of all time is Bugs Bunny. I have still not discovered what it was that made Bugs my favourite. I think you can all remember his catch phrase of all time "Eh...what's up doc," he said while usually chewing on a carrot. A classic move that was and had me smiling everytime he said it.



However I think the best cartoon of all time would have to be Tom & Jerry. Tom and Jerry has been around for centuries and still makes, children, teenagers and adults laugh. It was always Tom chasing Jerry and just as you would think 'for once Tom will catch Jerry', Jerry just outsmarts him. I was always on Jerry's side but my friend on the other hand felt sorry for Tom and prayed that just once Tom would catch Jerry. Anyway, I think we can all agree that Tom and Jerry are the funniest of all time.

...for a fashion fix!

Today's fashion challenge are these Jacard Belted shorts. They instantly caught my attention with how feminine yet they were. I loved the details on the shorts and how they still managed to remain simple. The belt with the bow was also a nice touch. I then decided to pair it with a simple tie lace crop top. I specifically chose this because it, just as the shorts had so much detaliang with the lace and the knot but managed to remain simple. I chose the studded ankle boots because I felt that the outfit still needed an edge and the ankle boots added that. The across the body bag continued the studded look of the ankle boots and also accented the bow on the shorts. So basically the bag tied the whole outfit together. The gypsy floral bangles were that pop of colour that every outfit needs and the faceted heart studs match the red colour on the bangles. Hope you like it! :)

Miss Knowles, or should I say Mrs Carter is now modelling her double campaign for Dereon and House of Dereon. For the House of Dereon collection Beyonce and Tina have decided that they would go along the line of the classic 40's and 50's look. This add is very seductive and classy and the line is all about dresses and great accesories. Where as for Dereon they went for the edgy punk rocker look in which Beyonce rocks numberous fake tattoos and blonde hair. This collection is more daring and modern and the line is all about jeans and shoes that express this. I'm more of a Dereon girl myself though :)!

These are a few shoes from Rachel Young's shoe collection that have been brought to my attention by one of my friends. She insisted that I look at them because she felt that they would be something I'd like...boy was she right! I love the edgy "matrix" look that they have. Personally my favourite is the shoe designed for the fall. However I like the peep toe in the summer heel and the silver edge on the shoe for the winter. Rachel Young got it totally right!

Kanye's back...again. This time for the first time he has paired up with his mentor's wife, the notable Beyonce. Also on the track is the historic Uncle Charlie Wilson. This track is alot more laid back and playful than the leading track Powerful and the follow up Cold Winter! Kanye takes a much more relaxed aproach towards this which is always refreshing! As good as the track is Kanye seems much more enthusastic about Beyonce's feature as he brags on about it! LOL

This fresh faced,long legged beauty is called Chanel Iman. She has already taken the fashion word by storm. I love her look, she's very remenicant of a Geshia Girl meets Victoria Secret Model. Her fashion off the catwalk is also very remarkable!

Today is the 71st birthday of the classic film " The Wizard of Oz." I definatley would recommend that anyone who has not already seen it to see it. Even if it is one of many modern versions. Personally one of my favourite childhood stories ever as well as one of the most iconic!

I know that these fashion photos look pretty ordinary and basic to us but in Japan this is cutting edge! While the rest of the world is trying so hard to add that Japenese flavour and that futuristic look, they are trying to take a step back. Unfortunatley I doubt this will catch on over here because we all know sage is not fun! However these photos do look pretty darn good.

The fashion challenge today was to give this rocker chained vest a simple and yet party girl look. I loved how the colour of the vest was very basic and that the front of the vest had all these chains where the back was just simple. It contrasted with it's self. I decided to pair it up with a pair of black jeggins because black would accent the colour of the vest as well as make this vest the perfect party outfit. Then I matched it with a charm bracelet that consists of edgier shapes and darker colour tied in with lace. This contiues the contrast look of the vest. Lace is such a soft material but the shape and the colours of the bracelet add that edge. Then I paired it up with a simple but not boring pair of bow and strap heels to add that va va voom and cute factor. This outfit is perfect for a night out in the town!
